About the Designer
A graduate of the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, Fatima always had the passion to run her own business. When she was younger, she would draw different designs of clothing and have them made for her and her friends. After completing her CPA, CA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation she used her spare time to start a clothing boutique - NOOR XO™ - named after her daughter. Noor xo is best known for combining contemporary trends with traditional fabrics and designs. The inspiration behind the brand is distinctly Western influences with an Eastern twist. Fatima Seedat is the fashion force behind the label - she started the company in 2015 and has reached many milestones including having her clothing displayed at the Kaamilah Boutique in Markham and at the DC Fashion Week in Washington, USA. She also gives back to the community and believes that giving is the new achieving - a portion of all of her profits are donated to Islamic Relief Canada. Working a full time job at a leading accounting firm, a mother of one, a wife, and now an entrepreneur, Fatima is passionate to reach her full potential and hopefully become one of the top leading fashion designers in Canada.

At NOOR XO™, we believe it is our responsibility to contribute to the needs of those who are less fortunate. We aspire to be catalysts for change by using our skills, voices and relationships to help bring solutions to global challenges. We ensure that our products are made in fair conditions which promote sustainability. Our producers are paid a fair price with improved social and environmental standards.
It is our goal to donate a portion of our sales to a charitable organization. This year, we were able to do that through Islamic Relief Canada by sponsoring an orphan through their orphan sponsorship program. We hope to make more contributions such as these in the near future.
